This glider was in the back yard last year...it got a new coat of white paint and moved to the front porch this year... |
I bought this glider at an auction last summer.... |
On the left, the glider is all decked out for fall. On the right, she has her new summer paint job. |
I wanted to show you this rusty crusty chair that I bought at the auction last Saturday.... |
She cost me $10...no extra charge for all the rust..lol! |
This is a wonderful place to sit and have tea...sometimes the neighbors stop by for a visit... |
There is the Hoosier potting bench in the back ground... |
On the left is a photo of how the front porch was decorated last year. |

Some of my favorite places to take in the scenery around our farm is from our porches. Give me a porch, a rocker or glider to sit in and a pretty view, and I'm quite content. ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful holiday season.
Blessings,

Perfectly charming, Penny, as the rest of your home. I love front porches that invite neighbors to come and sit a spell. Yours certainly is welcoming. Love the rug. You really should come and share this at Every Room In The House. We're partying outdoors this month and your porch fits the theme to a tea (pun intended). ReplyDeletePenny: I love what you have done to the front porch. It looks like another room. You are so lucky to have such a large front yard. Always a delight to visit. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I love the look in all the pictures, be it summer last year or fall. You sure have a way to make things look attractive.
